Grilled Cheese Crab Cake Co. - Paris

I was back in town and able to dine in. It's a small restaurant and on a Tuesday at lunchtime it was PACKED. We snagged the last outdoor table and it was a nice day. Note: there's currently construction happening around the building, so the outdoor dining experience was loud. Food was fantastic once again. Staff was stretched but super friendly and nice. They offered us to-go refills and I always love when a restaurant does that. One of my favorite lunch places in the area. I keep coming back again and again.

So let me tell you how I have not been impressed with the spots we have dined at. However, The Grilled Cheese and Crab Co is now one of my all time favorite sandwich shops. If I could give them 10 stars I would. The service was excellent and the food was top notch. The fried green tomatoes where perfect and the Grilled Crab and the grilled fried lobster made me want to get up and high five everyone in the restaurant!!! McKenna, our pleasant waitress, was on point and so friendly. She laughed at our silliness thru out the service. Thanks for such great service!!! You are awesome!!! I will end this with, get away from the strip will you are in Myrtle Beach!!! Go find The Grilled Cheese and Crab Co you will be just like me floating on cloud 9 and my tummy is so happy!!!

We came 15 minutes before they opened on a Wednesday since we were starving and was sat immediately when they opened at 11! Very fast and friendly service. The downside to this place is that they didn't have crab available so that was about 4 items off their menu but it does clearly state that on their door that crab and lobsters are limited right now. It also did state the price increase and that price may change at any time so READ THE SIGNAGE SO YOU'RE PREPARED and not angry about the prices or not available items on the menu. My hubs ordered the pimento cheese/fried green tomato w/ bacon grilled cheese and I got the fish and chips! both were delicious! The fish and chips is a must try very delicious batter and every bite, I got a *extraaaaa* crispy crunch!!! My husband said that his grilled cheese was the best grilled cheese he's had! The bread was so crunch but flavorful!!! Must try the boom boom sauce!!

The best grilled cheese in the state? You bet! After a visit to the beach, we wanted to try a local spot. They are still operating but only have outdoor seating. Be sure to arrive before the lunch crowd because they do have about 7-8 tables available. I ordered the classic grilled cheese with tomato soup, so yummy!! My husband ordered the crab cake grilled cheese with tomato. It was good but in my opinion, and he agreed, grilled cheese is not something to mess with. Our waitress did say that the crab cake one was a favorite for customers. Personally, I would go with the basic grilled cheese. Fries are bland so if you do order fries, I would order something besides the basic ones.

Second time visiting this place and the food is always delicious. You got to try the Crab Melt. It is the second best grilled cheese sandwich I've ever had. Definitely check this amazing place out!!
