One of the best cafés in South Tyrol, Rudi 's pastry, ice cream, and drinks are worth a trip to Partschins/Parcines. One specialty of theirs is called Scheiterhaufen in German, which means something like getting burned at the stakes in English obviously losing something in the translation. It actually apple biscuits soaked in milk then mixed with raisins and cinnamon, toppled with vanilla sauce a dream made possible by Rudi!
If you look for a calm place and want to stay in a family atmosphere in South Tyrol you definitely should watch this one. You will get first class service and find a perfect location to start trips in all directions. Wether it is for hiking and climbing in the mountains or for a nice shopping tour in Meran or Bozen, its all nearby and easy to find.
Personally one of the best coffees in the environment. fruchteis is made from regional fruits!
