Gladstone Inn - Paraparaumu

I visited this restaurant for lunch and was impressed with the variety of drinks offered, along with a selection of seating options—inside, on the covered deck, or outside in the sun. The food was outstanding, with plenty of choices available. The service was excellent; even though it got quite busy, the staff ensured that every guest was attended to promptly. This is a fantastic place to stop for lunch or dinner while you're traveling.

The food was delicious, but there was a bit of a wait. It's a great, laid-back place to relax. I had made a reservation for the balcony to celebrate my birthday, but we were seated elsewhere. It would have been nice if all our meals had arrived at the same time as well. This was my second visit, and I was disappointed to see that they no longer offer wood-fired pizza on the menu, which was one of the main reasons I chose this restaurant for my birthday celebration.

I made a reservation for lunch at 12:45 PM, but by 2:45 PM, we were still waiting. Our food finally arrived at 3 PM, but the drinks we ordered never came. Throughout this long wait, there were no explanations or updates provided. While I understand that the hospitality industry is facing challenges right now, it's basic courtesy to keep customers informed about what's happening. The food was good once it finally arrived, but the subpar service really detracted from the overall experience. I hope this was just an isolated incident.

An overall great place to eat and drink conveniently near me for a nice meal! Perfect for every occasion would recommend for anyone nearby to have a wonderful experience and only a short drive I have never had a bad time at the Gladstone inn pizza’s are amazing and they manage to make refreshing drinks in under a minute! 5 stars would go there for any occasions.
