Houlihan's Paramus

With our children early silvester evening. had a great time, online reservation only 20 minutes ago. had an excellent waiter, eating was good and our table was ready as soon as we are there.

Steak fajitas and baked potato soup never disappointed!

The service was absolutely awful. We got there early but we did not see anyone for a while. We were in the bar area which we requested so some of us could watch the game but it was freezing most of the time until the heat briefly came on. This happened the entire time. We asked why it was so cold but the few people we asked had no idea. We got there after 4:30pm for a 5:15pm reservation and we did not leave until almost 9pm. It was unreal. The server was also the bartender so we only saw him a few minutes at a time. A few drinks would come but not the rest until later but some never came until we asked again. It wasn’t until after 6pm which was way late when someone else came to take our orders. The time between appetizers and dinner was not good. I ordered an add on salad that never came but was on the bill but we just wanted to get out of there so we let it go. The few people that ordered the Turkey special were unhappy because there was too much skin on the Turkey and it was hard to eat through. The dessert orders were wrong. We also paid for an extra brownie sundae we did not order. And the topper was the server telling us that our $100 bill was counterfeit and wouldn’t go through the machine so we needed to give her a different one. Oh dear God. Cannot make this up.

We understand it was Thanksgiving, but the restaurant had run out of pumpkin pie, which was disappointing. Additionally, the turkey portion was quite small. Despite this, we enjoy Houlihan's and will definitely continue to recommend it to our friends and family. We've visited both the Ramsey and Paramus locations.

Thanksgiving Turkey Dinners were COLD, Waiter took back to Heat Up. Dinner's were O.K., But, You can't serve Cold .
