Grecian Gyros - Papillion

For a small place in the LaVista area, this is a great stop! I normally order the chicken supreme gyro. It is a ton of food (in a good way). The food is very well seasoned, and the meat and veggies are well cooked. A great, quick, easy stop whenever I'm craving some greek food

I stopped in for some Gryo meat in a yet to be determined format. I started talking to the guy at the counter and I settled on a Gyro wrap (not on menu) same as a gyro but in wrap or burrito form. Sauce on the side. Make sure you ask about sauce because the wrap doesn 't have it. Came home and man it was very good and the fries were seasoned and crispy. I WILL go back.

I see this place suggested a lot on Omaha Food Lovers (I'm noticing now that it is suggested by the same person every time so I'm guessing that person is affiliated with the business, which gives off a scummy vibe). I took my son one night for a quick bite and wasn't impressed. The first thing I noticed was that they didn't have the meat on the spit. It was all shaved off and in various pots in the kitchen area. To warm it up, they threw it on the griddle for a few minutes. I ordered a salad with gyro meat and a side of extra meat as well as a kids meal. This cost more than $30... I did get a generous portion of meat but considering the fact that it was just laying around in pots and not even cooked on the spit, this price felt over the top. The gyro meat was relatively flavorless, the salad had four olives on it, it was all just meh. Boring, not great, won't be back, unfortunately!

I ordered the chicken gyro and didn't care for the seasoning. The tzatziki sauce was incredibly bland. The onion petals were decent but the fries were soggy. At least I can say I tried it but I wouldn't go back again

There's a severe nostalgia factor for a place that you've been going to periodically since you were a kid. I enjoy their gyros and that old school atmosphere. I've never had a bad experience service-wise and that says a lot. You're one of the placing helping me get through this pandemic! #ThankyouThursday
