Anavargos Taverna Tapas Meze - Paphos

This is a fantastic place. A warm welcome as we arrived. Seated and shown the menu. Great selection at a good price. Also has a special menu with good items on. All food is freshly cooked and tasted amazing. It was hard to eat it all. After all our meal and about to burst. We get sliced fruit and then shots of Ouzo. Defiantly coming back here again.

I've lived near here for years ad seen a few changes of ownership, and this new management has been a change for the better. The cosy little restaurant is still there, but now with more seating in the outer zone with windows for warmth, the menu is still good value but the food...for a village tavern it's amazing, absolutley superb. Even the dips are somehow different and utterly delicious. Worth a trek from outside the village, and a real treat for locals. I'll be back!

What a great place to eat and drink. Visited on Saturday. Excellent food lots of it. The staff are very helpful. Live entertainment from the owner (Andre). A larger than life character. Everyone was made welcome and had a great night. We will be returning in the next few nights

Lovely atmosphere, great service and really good food. A meze with a twist. Really well priced would definitely recommend!!

Just back from our first visit here and we weren’t disappointed. Most definitely worth a visit. The Ala Carte menu was very comprehensive and sensibly priced, the food was very well cooked and nicely presented. There was also a “Special Offer” menu which again offered real choices. A starter and main course for less than €14, what is there not to like�
