Bidrage med feedbackOn a cold weather, eating assam pedas fish, kankung belacan, ayam goreng kunyit and telur dadar is a combination of comfort and delight. Comforting to the soul and delightful to the taste bud. Enjoyed the late dinner with hubby here. The makcik was very friendly and funny.
Food lovers will imagine its spicy sour asam pedas which is very popular not only with the local community but also with visitors from outside. Among the quite popular asam pedas restaurants in Langkawi is Okay Bos Asam Pedas. Perhaps because of its position, it is very easy to attract the attention of visitors from outside. The spicy asam pedas covers various types of fish such as parang fish, rays, jenahak and so on. With a thick and red gravy, it tastes very good eaten with hot rice and accompanied by fresh side dishes. In addition to the asam pedas, there is also crab curry, cooked lobster chili fat, smoked meat fat, mango kerabu, spicy fried chicken and grilled fish. Some even say that these menus are tastier than the spicy asam pedas itself, especially the grilled fish dipping sauce.
Very tasty Malaysian food for a fair price. The lady who owns it is lovely.
This restaurant is run by an older couple. Their asam pedas are so yummy. A must place to visit when you are looking for dinner
The place is sufficiently clean to eat. Asam pedas dish is delicious, side dishes were also nice to eat. Freshly cooked as per order, so will have to wait a while. Can savor the smell as you wait. Staff is patient and friendly. Place is outdoors, best to eat while weather is cool and not hot.
