Flavour Of India - Pandora New Zealand

I used to really enjoy going to this restaurant before I moved, and I still do when I visit. It's a great spot if you're on a budget and craving Indian food; you can get a satisfying meal for about $15, which usually includes half curry and half rice. Just don’t expect too much for that price. The staff member there is incredibly nice and friendly, always managing to put a smile on our faces—I think we make him smile, too! I popped in the other week to grab something since it had been a while since my last visit.

The food is really creamy and reasonably priced; it will always be my favorite spot.

Unfortunately, this restaurant has closed and been replaced by a Thai fast-food establishment. I'll need to find a new go-to for Indian takeout. Does anyone know where the chef from this place has gone? He made fantastic food! It was a great spot; the owner and chef were incredibly friendly and efficient. I never waited longer than 15 minutes for a meal, so it was always ready when I arrived. The lamb dishes were packed with generous portions of meat. I recently tried the Mushroom Mutter for the first time and it was delightful—a wonderfully spicy, creamy tomato gravy balanced perfectly with sweet peas. This was my favorite curry place!
