Bidrage med feedbackDuring our three-week stay in Bay Point, we stopped by this place for drinks and appetizers on the Boardwalk. The views of the sunsets and wildlife were fantastic, and the staff was excellent.
I had the chicken street tacos, and they were fantastic. The fries were perfectly crispy. Nicole, the bartender, was kind enough to prepare me a virgin piña colada.
First impressions matter a lot. When I arrived at the restaurant and took a seat, I realized I needed to get my own menu and place my order, which was unexpected since the bartender was right there the whole time and didn’t mention it. As for customer service, it left much to be desired. I ordered a Fried Fish Sandwich and a Coke, which came to $24. The food was decent, but nothing special. The setting is pleasant, being right at the pier, but would I return? No!
Be aware you must walk down a very long pier to get here. If you put it in google maps it will take you to a dead end. Park at the Sheraton and make your way to the back/side of the hotel and find the wooden pier. Food and drinks were very over priced. Food was just ok. Basically you are going to have to search for and go on a long walk to sit in some plastic chairs and overpay for an ok meal. They mostly are servicing people at the hotel. Not worth finding this place if you aren't staying at the hotel. Pictures are fried fish tacos and ceviche. They give 20% off if you are a local.
It was very convenient that we could pull our boat up and grab lunch but the food was not good. We had two people order chicken tacos and got pork tacos. The fish po boy just tasted bad. Out of 7 of us only one person finished their meal. Definitely will not go back there. I also feel like we were over charged. I know feeding 7 is costly however the bill was extremely high and the bartender didn?t give us a receipt.
