Calicanto Trattoria Cocina Italiana, Pizza Cafe

Delicious pizza! We asked for the calicanto and gustosa pizza and both were very very good. The staff was great aswell. And not overpriced for the casco viejo area.

I have been to over 30 countries. I always eat the local cuisine the entire trip. I also eat pizza for a meal as it is served in every place on earth. This was better than most pizzas in the states and is the best pizza I have ever had outside the states (never been to Italy). Family owned and operated and you can taste the passion in the food and see the passion in the chef.

Pizza was good, salad was good, service OK, and then they refused to let us have access to Wifi to get an Uber. So, would advise you to go somewhere a bit more friendly to customers.

Best meal of our trip to Panama. We ordered Bruschetta, Capresa, Ravioli, Lasagna, and Pizza. Everything was amazing and was a great way to close our trip out in Panama.

We actually went there twice because the pizza was that good from what I could see, also the pasta looked quite promising. Btw.: You can sit on the street in the evening
