Bidrage med feedbackAs a frequent customer at Garden, I am always looking to try something new from the menu. My latest discovery, which has quickly become a favorite, is the peanut masala. Despite its simple name, it is a delicious and satisfying treat. I recommend enjoying it as a side with your main meal or as a snack at the Roof Top bar paired with a beer and a pizza.
If you are looking for a mid-range restaurant then this one is for you... we began with a plate of peanut masala, which was simply delicious (besides the copious amounts of coriander/cilantro ... my mum doesnt like the herb), before having a chicken sizzler plate (which was ginormous!) this was more than enough food to share between two people! The prices of the dishes is reasonable considering the sheer size of the meals. The service was within a glance away, always ready to change plates and cutlery and remove any dirty dishes which was handy... The free wifi wasn't particularly strong, however I believe dinner time is a time to relax. Overall I nice place to eat!
I discovered The Garden Restaurant during my stay in Ourem, located conveniently nearby. Intrigued by their picturesque ambiance, I decided to give it a try. I appreciated their open-air kitchen, allowing diners to see their meals being prepared right before their eyes. We started off with some chilled Kingfisher beers to quench our thirst. The chicken sizzlers were a hit, with generous portions large enough for two people to enjoy.
The restaurant has a charming atmosphere and the seafood platter is excellent. Following the suggestions of others, I ordered the tuna steak (accompanied by mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables). Regrettably, it arrived smothered in an overly salty sauce and was greatly overcooked. Being from the UK, the waiter informed me that in India, they typically cook it to 'well done' - just a heads up!
