La Boheme - Palo Alto

I have been to this place many times and the food and service is generally good. This time there were problems with some very basic food and service. For example, the over-easy eggs were not hot and appeared to have sat in the kitchen for a while. The fries, hashbrown and bacon are overdone and beyond crispy. One of the benedict was overcookedI also ordered a coffee and the soufflé. Five minutes after we ordered, I had to ask the server in order to get the coffee. We also ordered a soufflé in the beginning, but it was a no show 20 minutes after we finished the meal. What is the point of ordering the soufflé from the start?

All the food we ordered seems to have been bought premade from Costco. The salmon croquettes appetizer came with just 3 bites that, if any smaller, would be invisible. Their croissant didn't taste bad but was very dense, more like a roll of dough.Service was okay, but they forgot several items we asked for.

The beignets were absolutely amazing. Server was a bit distracted but all in all it was great. We enjoyed ourselves here. Nice and convenient location and the inside was quite relaxing. Price was good too

Everything about this place is good! I actively tried escargot for the 1st time here and it was amazing! The wine is really good and the food is amazing!
