al rojo vivo - Palmita de Landeta

The four of us have made burger and it is wonderful that they can get a smaller burger instead of getting a big one. their own French pommes are fantastic! we sat outside on a soon-and-a-half and it looks like most of the diners...the same option as inside, where it is cool and the light is mute, had no diners on this Sunday night. many original large works of art in the interior. a few times the musical trio was a bit loud for the room, but of course added to the charm. service is friendly and efficient, and the employees speak some English. Drinks were good and after that we had tee and cappuccino. beautiful toilets. beautiful view of the ground, the walls and a huge tree close to it. as it becomes dark, small lights come around on the ground, very sweet. we ordered the grilled vegetables that I expected would be crushed veggies that were fried, but instead these very wide and thin discs were spiced by some different types of squash and carrots, slightly grilled and very easy with salt and pepper. wonderful! delicious aromas in each part of the meal. we did not dessert, but planned the next time!

This is our preferred place when we come to san miguel. best in steaks and burger in the city! excellent place and the owner is very nice!

One of our favorite ways to spend a Sunday in SMA is to take a hike w our dog out in Landeta, then get a burger at al rojo vivo. I'm a maybe a 2 or 3 x a month meat eater, so when...I do have meat I'm looking for the best around. And my partner is a chef, so he's choosy too. Anyhow, this is the best burger I've had in my 6 years as an expat, hands down. Juicy beyond your wildest dreams, done right nearby on a grill fire, perfecto in every way. We varied once and had the steak, also very good but for me it's the burger. Just WOW. Also great fries a beautiful setting, lovely for a Sunday drive. Oh and we never don't have the Pancetta for dessert, to die for.

First off all, it’s only a couple of minutes from San Miguel. Very nice establishment, beautiful place!!! Best steak ever!!! Staff very kind!

Been here numerous times. Ordered my wife her usual Rib Eye medium rare...it was horrible. After trying to eat the ribeye, my wife returned the steak per it's fatty greasy gritty texture. Definitely not what you expect at 550 pesos. I brought this displeasure to the attention...of owner chef. I was only told next time, let me know and I'll replace the steak . ,Next time ??? there will be no next time. My daughter recommended bringing the remainder home for our dogs, but I declined so there would be NO confusion on the quality displeasure. The waiters were great. Extremely dissapointed, therefore I recommend going elsewhere. 3500 tab and displeasure
