The French Bakery European Cuisine

Can't comment on the food because we never got any. Sat down, ordered coffee, the waiter brought the coffee and we told him to give us a few minutes to decide. That was the end. He then proceeded to ignore us for 25 minutes, walking by several times and not even looking at us so we could get his attention. We then went to the greeter and said we were leaving. The greeter ran and got the waiter, so of course we were expecting an apology, Nope, the waiter came with his machine and informed us that it was $13 for the two plain coffees. Avoid this place, Hilton Head has plenty of choices! Update: manager responded and offered to reimburse credit card. We paid cash, so that won't work. The response is appreciated though. We were down there from Canada for the graduation of our son from USCB, so it is unlikely we will be back in SC anytime soon. (fyi, our server was the guy with the mini ponytail). Once again, thank you for replying and for your offer.

Been coming here for 14 years with my family and there couldn’t be a better cafe. Delicious food, fun variety of pastries, cutest decor, friendly and helpful staff, etc. Authentic French croques and rich thick French onion soup!!
