Kapadokya Mediteranean Turkish Cuisine

So last night I went with a group of Mates to @kapadokyakebabs . It's Turkish cuisine that I haven't tried so far. I ordered the Grilled Halloumi the mixed grill. Wow

Wouldnt make the choice to come back here. The reason I haven 't given one star is because the food came out in a reasonable time. -Staff staring/standing around while we eat -Squeaky chairs. Like that chilling chalkboard sound everytime a chair was moved along the ground. They could put some sort of covers over the chair bottoms to avoid this. Super annoying and disturbing. -Furniture rearrange. At rougly 7.15pm (pointing out it wasn 't the end of the night) the staff started rearranging the furniture to accommodate for the next group coming in, but dragging the tables and chairs along the ground which again sounds like a chalkboard or feedback on a speaker for about 10-15 minutes. -Missing food items 5/6 orders came out and they had to go back into kitchen to make a plate up. -Extra charge for takeaway food containers... when did this start happening? Do all restaurants do this now? -Chicken Yavo gone downhill.. this used to be one of their most popular meals, but I think since new owners took over, it 's gone WAAY down. It 's meant to be a creamy Mushroom and chicken sauce atop chips with parmesan. Sounds easy enough but the creamy part of this meal was 100% missing. I got chicken mushroom sprinkled with parmesan on chips. It didn 't taste bad, but needed the creaminess as it was very boring and dry. 1 upside. They did take a charge for a drink off the bill to make up for the late/missing meal. It wasn 't her drink, but.. thanks? Would maybe go back if it was takeaway and if the Chicken Yavo had been fixed (as this was the same problem I had last time)

Tried this once more this year and the kapadoky special is so terrible. No flavour, meat tasted so bad can't beleive how bad quality the meatballs especially. Quality of food and quantity has gone done alot this year. It used to be the goto place. Very expensive, not worth it at all. If i could give a zero I would. So unfortunate.

Have dined here before and been impressed. However, that can not be said for this visit. The food was not fresh. The meat was dry and chewy. The rice was undercooked and soggy. Understand it was quiet but just didn’t think Turkish could be done poorly. Everyone is doing it hard atm but just disappointed neither of us could get through even half of the meal.

Prices up, quality down. We have ordered from Kapadokya many times and it has been a long time favorite, BUT that has changed. Just ordered our usual chicken yavo (x5) and every one of them was disappointing. Every meal was the same The chips used to be crispy outside soft inside and now they are soggy. There's barely any gravy on the meats/mushroom. Quality has taken a sharp dive. All of this and the prices have taken a huge hike. I understand the price rise, but to cut quality of the product I as well was the wrong move. Never going back.
