Roly China Fusion - Palm Springs

We were disappointed after being sat on time for out 630 reservation to wait 15+ minutes without being greeted by a server... had to ask the host for help... First set of dumplings great second room temp and hard. Miso Satay warm not hot...

Absolutely love this place. This is our go-to each and every trip to Palm Springs. So devastated they're closing in 3 weeks- the staff is always friendly and there's a fantastic drink and food menu. We ordered the sea bass satay and dumplings, the the shrimp and lobster noodle. All was fantastic! I hope they reconsider and stay open.

The drag show was fantastic—fun and entertaining! Unfortunately, all five of us felt that the food left much to be desired. The texture, flavor, freshness, and portion sizes were all lacking. The dim sum sounded tantalizing, but instead, we were served a platter of vegetables. The Brussels sprouts were the only redeeming item, but each of us only got about four bites. I really hope the food improves so that the talented performers can keep putting on their incredible and meaningful show!

The air conditioning in the restaurant was not functioning, and with the temperature outside reaching 94°F in the evening, it felt unbearable inside. Had I been aware of this issue beforehand, I would have chosen not to dine there. To be fair, I can't assess the quality of the food since we decided to leave before dinner due to the heat. I did overhear an employee telling another customer, who had also complained, that the air conditioning has been broken for several years. He mentioned that repairs are too costly. While I understand that finances can be tight, I find it hard to believe a restaurant in a desert climate can operate without proper cooling. If the owners don't plan to repair the air conditioning, they should either close during the hottest months or at the very least inform customers before they arrive for dinner.

The food was excellent! However, I was a bit disappointed that several items on the menu were unavailable. It was also puzzling that the waiter seldom checked in with us, especially since the restaurant wasn't busy. I ended up having to go to the bar to request another drink. It's unfortunate to hear they're closing, which might explain the staffing and food shortages. I hope they find a new location!
