Palm Springs Tap Room

This place is way too cool! Friends took us here, and it was fabulous. Located in a classic old resort hotel, The Trinidad, the lounge and restaurant portion is a hot spot of popularity. It 's nearly impossible to get a reservation, and sitting at the bar, which we did, is actually a fun option. This is where the 'Rat Pack ' (Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Frank Sinatra) met and stated their illustrious association. It 's a perfect lounge space for truly intimate, wonderful performances. The drinks are amazing, from the truly creative to the old standards, like a classic martini, mine was with my choice of Hendricks gin. They make any cocktail to your specifics. The wine list is extensive. Ask for anything, and they most likely can make it. The meal menu is varied and appealing. I had the risotto that was beyond amazing. It was probably the best I have ever had, creamy and full of delicious flavor. The crowd is so casual and friendly. We struck up conversations with a few folks sitting around us, which added to the enjoyment and atmosphere. You sit, sip, eat, and listen to incredible music and song... like couldn 't be better. Lillias White performed the night we attended, and her show was outstanding. Her voice was crystal clear with incredible range and so connected with the audience. What a fun, enjoyable night of stepping back into the old days of lounge singing. The staff is so professional and attentive and totally on their game. It can be a pricey night, but oh, so worth it!

The whole place is remiscent of some of the best Jazz Club restaurants in the country. While the decor is appropriately nostalgic, the menu is absolutely first class. It's a bit pricey, but well worth it. The classic cocktails are perfectly blended, and the champagne is always at the ready. Make reservations well in advance, because the music is top tier and the regulars keep pretty tight rein on their turf. Most of the acts take well-deserved time out of their routines to remind the guests that this is the room where the Rat Pack first performed, and anecdotes about their beginnings. This is a special place, and great for birthdays and anniversaries. Top notch! Roger Medanich

I had no idea this place existed. I'm so glad I found it! We were invited to a networking event and it is exactly what I have been looking for and didn't even know it. Didn't have the food so I can't comment on that but the drinks, amazing!!! We indulged in old fashions and martinis. The ambiance takes you back in time. The entertainment was fabulous, makes you want to sway to classic melodies. This place is memorable for sure. Check out the website for hours and entertainment schedule.

There's nothing quite like this Palm Springs venue! Michael Holmes has worked his magic in recreating this intimate Supper Club with attention to every detail. From the performers to the bill of fare , an exceptional experience sure to delight!
