Melvyn's At The Ingleside Inn

Terrible experience. The steak was overcooked and hard, and the sides that finally came were not completely boiled. We were charged for items that have never arrived, as well as a mysterious load on the tab. The service was incredibly slow, and while we understand that they were short, our table was always overlooked. Ambiance was nice, but that's the point. Have a drink in the bar, but skip the incredibly expensive dinner for food and service.

Recommend this place for a happy hour tip, especially if you have live music. We had dinner here, and unfortunately we were disappointed. We traveled the world and visited many historic steak houses. For the price, this is a disappointment. The food was good. Not great. Our experience felt excited. And to have attacked 4% “wellness fees” was very disappointed. For these prices, I would assume that the property could afford to pay their employees fair living wages with health benefits, without the patrons paying an additional fee.

Excellent food and service. Had the steak diane, the dinner and a show. It is pricy, but a beautiful special occasion place.

Such a cool place for a special meal! The ambiance is so cool and beautiful. The service was absolutely top notch…could not have been better. The food we had was wonderful…my husbands ribeye steak could not have been better. Our drinks were also delicious and we finished off with a cheesecake for dessert. Live music was playing across the restaurant, very lovely but not so loud that it was distracting or hard to hear. Definitely go here for your next nice night out or special occasion!

Everything was perfect. The ambiance, the live music, the attentive service, the beef Wellington…so, so good. We had the oysters Rockefeller to start. Highly recommend.
