Bidrage med feedbackVery disappointed! limited menu, over price, average quality, small portions. we had a search in the city and wish we had eaten in another restaurant. we tried, but not back.
I am puzzled as to why this restaurant is charging such high prices. The quality was good, but certainly not anything special that deserves premium pricing. Service was fine. It was pretty dead for a Friday, now I can see why.
My friend invited me to dinner tonight in Kiyosaku and I had to sing my praise! This scenic, small Japanese restaurant in the world was absolutely dying.... from Kiyo, the lovely master chef to his mouth-watering eating art. Every slice of the freshest fish I never believed I could ever find in the desert is perfection and melts absolutely in your mouth. I can't wait to go back and try his signature Grapefruit Special!
Excellent. Old school. Traditional. Whatever you want to call a classic sushi experience, that's it. The quality of the fish was the best I had and I ate in many sushi bars all over the country. As you would expect for this quality of fish and experience, it is NOT cheap; it's worth every penny. It is also a pleasure to eat somewhere that belongs to the family and has been operating for over 35 years, with the skills to go with it. Excellent experience you will not forget.
This is by far the best sushi restaurant in the desert. Kiyo only uses the best and freshest ingredients, but be careful, there is a price tag attached. Its special Grapefruit teems with beautiful raw fish and a generous piece of royal scrap. Its California role is made with a whole crabbon, but don't order if you can't get to pay $35. This is not the place to order individual pieces of sushi, but to hear the daily specialties and recommendations. Do not try to change the menu or ask for substitutions. Kiyo runs a traditional restaurant. Read the back of the small menu and you will understand its explanation. Keeping with tradition, they are closed on Wednesday and have now added another day with Tuesday. It is small with limited seats arriving so early. And hurry up like the retirement is right around the corner.
