Poke Ramen Town (palm Harbor)

I appreciated the tofu, which had a nice springy texture and was not the hard, gummy type. The shredded carrots and daikon (white radish) were fresh and added a nice textural element to the dish. The scoop of avocado was also enjoyable. However, the overall flavor profile didn't quite capture the essence of poke, which should incorporate Hawaiian and Japanese flavors. Instead, the addition of cilantro and crispy fried onions gave the dish a Southeast Asian twist. The seaweed salad was average; it has a very generic flavor that most people might find satisfactory, but I had hoped for something more memorable, as I've had better at other poke places. The biggest disappointment was the texture of the rice. I understand that brown rice can be challenging to prepare, but I have successfully made chewy, slightly sticky short-grain brown rice at home that closely resembles sushi rice. In contrast, the brown rice in this poke bowl was unseasoned, dry, and fluffy, reminiscent of Indian rice or something prepared in an instant pot rather than in a proper rice cooker. While I had higher expectations, I realize that the local clientele might not mind a poke place that operates like a fast-casual joint. The mango smoothie I ordered was refreshing but fell short because it was made from a powder mix rather than real fruit. This review serves as feedback and suggestions for potential improvements the restaurant could consider making.

We visited this restaurant during our vacation and absolutely loved it! There was only one woman managing the place, and she was incredibly kind and attentive to us. This might be the best ramen I've ever had. We ordered the Miso Ramen with Chasu Pork Belly, a Chicken Poke Bowl topped with crab meat, and Lychee Bubble Tea (as shown in the pictures). We also tried the Japanese Chasu Pork Belly Ramen and the Pan-Fried Pork Ramen with Shoyu sauce. Every dish was delicious! The ramen did have a small amount of meat, so I suggest ordering extra if you prefer more, but it was perfect for me. I will definitely return here again! I highly recommend this restaurant!

We ordered a poke bowl and their unique take on a burrito, which is essentially the bowl rolled in a seaweed wrap. Both dishes were fantastic! We placed our order for a 7 PM pickup, and it was ready right on time. The woman who assisted us was very appreciative of our business. If you enjoy spicy food, be sure to request a side of their hot sauce—it's amazing!

I enjoyed it so much that I returned just two days later for more! The portions are generous for a great price, and both the poké and ramen are absolutely delicious!

The food was delicious, with a fantastic selection at a good price, and the place was immaculately clean. It was similarly priced to Publix's bowls but offered much better quality and more variety. I ordered online and picked up two bowls. While I would have appreciated a bit more fish roe than was included, I was overall very satisfied with my experience.
