Big Joe's Pasta House - Palm Harbor

We absolutely adore this wonderful place! The food is fresh and delicious, the staff is fantastic, the atmosphere is authentic, and the prices are very reasonable. Joe himself runs the kitchen and usually cooks our meals. The front of house staff is exceptional - they greet you warmly, take great care of you during your meal, chat with you, give expert recommendations, and remember you when you come back! We highly recommend the Zuppa di Pesce, as suggested by our server/bartender Janice. We are new to the area and are thrilled to have found a favorite restaurant nearby. Once you visit, you'll feel like part of the family. We have been back many times already!

I can't praise Big Joes Italian enough! My fiancé and I are regulars here and we always have an amazing experience. The Italian food is top-notch and reasonably priced. Whether dining in or getting takeout, you won't be disappointed. The extensive menu is all made from scratch, which is hard to find at other Italian restaurants. We visit at least once a week because the staff is so friendly and welcoming; they make you feel like part of the family.

Stepping into Big Joe's felt like a nostalgic journey back to the New York City of my childhood. The classic red sauce Italian dishes reminded me of the meals we used to have without a second thought. The food was freshly prepared and served in very generous portions. I ordered the shrimp scampi over angel hair pasta and it was cooked perfectly - 7 jumbo shrimp and plenty of garlic. If I had to nitpick, I would say it could have used a touch more lemon, wine, and salt, but overall, it was the best scampi I've had in the southern region. The service was incredibly friendly and the other three guests in my party were also pleased with their dishes. I will definitely be returning to Big Joe's in the future.

Down here for a week, ate here twice. Absolutely loved it. 10 stars. The pizza and wings we ordered the first night may of been the best pizza we've ever had. And we eat Mellow Mushroom among others here at home that are local favorites. While theregetting pizza I noticed the 4.99 endless pasta sign. We came back and WOW. The four of us ordered two meatballs for 3.99 more togo with this amazing platter of spaghetti and marinara and they were the size of softballs. Plus you get salad and garlic bread.I can't tell you how authentic and amazing the sauce was. I despise places like Olive Garden and refuse to eat there. I can'tbelieve this place isn't the number 1 place around. Absolutely loved it and loved the strong Italian presence. 10 stars

So warm and welcoming. They called every patron by name as they left. True feeling of being with family. Menu is extensive and food is delicious. Been longing for some authentic Italian food and I've finally found it. Can't wait to go back!!!
