Keedy's Fountain Grill - Palm Desert

Large spoon? Delicious food? I ordered the Spanish Omelet for breakfast, and it truly made me smile. A word of caution for those unfamiliar with the area: my Uber driver and I had quite a bit of trouble locating the restaurant. I ended up visiting three times before I finally figured out where it was. The omelet, paired with hash browns, toast, and coffee, cost $15.

A true gem! This classic 1950s coffee shop has a rich tradition in the valley. Be sure to save room for an incredible milkshake—it’s my mom's favorite! You definitely need to visit Keedy's!

This is a fantastic local spot for quick, delicious food and outstanding service. We enjoyed sitting outside, and the heating lamps were a nice touch on a chilly morning. However, I was a bit disappointed with the restaurant's cleanliness; the seat and menu were both dirty. It's surprising that they still provide menus and salt in that condition.

Hungry? In a hurry? This is a great spot early on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Stopped here for a quick bite on our way to play golf. As you would expect, the food is made to order and it comes out fast and hot. Eggs were prepared as requested a plus. The hard working staff is friendly and efficient. It looked like they were preparing for a crowd. Likely, there will be a wait later in the morning. Worth it if you like “a blast from the past” experience.

Great breakfast diner food! I would have never found this place as a tourist but the local recommendation was fantastic and we really enjoyed everything ordered. Great service too which added to the experience.
