Del Taco - Palm Desert

I didn't have a bad experience at the restaurant. The woman who took my order was friendly, and everything with my order was perfect. However, I found one thing quite odd. When I pulled up to the payment window and handed over my card, the lady asked me to step back and said she would let me know when I could come forward again. She had secured herself a short distance away, and I couldn’t understand the reason for this procedure, especially since they still had my card. After about a minute, she signaled for me to come back to the window, where she handed me my card and my food. I noticed she did the same with the car in front of me, although I didn't see if she did it with the car behind me. Overall, it was a strange experience, and I'm curious about the reasoning behind this "tactic."

I placed an online order, and when I arrived at the restaurant, the staff was exceptionally helpful. The food was just perfect. I arrived a bit early for my pickup, but since it was a slow night, it was ready for me as soon as I got there. Thank you!
