Backstreet Bistro - Palm Desert

I just finished my delicious French toast. my wife and daughter had the el paseo eggs, but they were not impressed. the personal was friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable. I hope I'll come back soon to taste her dinner.

The fod was ok nothing special the portion were a bit lacking the atmosphere was quaint the service was very slow and disorganized the place felt understaffed and that the staff was overwhelmed

Steam table quality of food. Very surprised by 4 and 5 stars.

We cannot remember eating at a place with food that was this bad. Eggplant Parmesan tasted like they used the cheapest mozzarella they could find. Service was lackluster at best.
