Bidrage med feedbackWe were staying in Palm Coast for a NASCAR race and found 386 online. When you pull up, it's not what you may expect. It looks like an old house that has been converted but very quaint and ambiance was fine. Food was fantastic. We had fish dip and baked brie apps. If I am being super picky brie could have been a little softer but thats splitting hairs. Entrees were really good. Mexican triggerfish was outstanding. My grouper special was very very good and the 386 chicken also prepared and executed well. I read some of the other reviews and understand this is a small family business so if the service isn't lightning fast sometimes, just be patient. It is worth it for the food. Frankie took great care of us though. No problems at all.
Cannot say enough great things about this little hidden gem. I sent my husband and friends in last night who had never been and Frank took great care of them as he always does. He personally took care of the table and they had an absolutely fantastic experience. I love love love this place! Thank you!
Disappointing dinner experience. We arrived at 5:10 and sat down immediately (party of five). We sat for five minutes before a server was observed. At her first appearance she was already quadruple-sat and proceeded to hit the two-tops first to clear the low-hanging fruit. We were greeted and we asked a few questions, upon which she disappeared. There was a delay in service flow due to a spill at another table. As a result of disrupted sevice, we were left high and dry for several more minutes. The server returned and asked what we (the adults) wanted to drink. I replied we would order wine but the order was dependent on our entree orders. At no time were our two teenagers asked what they wanted to drink. We had to flag down the host to get an order for them. Then came another delay in service. After several more minutes the manager, Frank, appeared and proceeded to take our drink order and discuss specials. After ordering wine we ordered appetizers. When appetizers were served we had to ask for share plates. Appetizers and entrees were delicious, but trying to get service for the kids' drinks took some effort to get attention (we were seated in a far corner and started to feel like out-of-sight-out-of-mind). Upon finishing dinner Frank cleared our table and introduced the cocktail waitress for the sole purpose of telling us about the desserts. She looked awkward and uncomfortable, but politely reviewed the dessert choices. After desserts we got the bill, which did not show a discount on our bottle of wine. Frank stated that the half-price wine on Wednesdays is limited to $60 a bottle. No where on the website, wine menu or food menu does it state that limitation. Before this issue could be discussed Frank chose to discount our $80 bottle of wine. The dinner here is great, but the five-star review loses three stars: 1. Inadequate staffing; 2. Deceptive wine pricing; 3. Throwing the cocktail waitress under the bus.
A treasure of Palm Coast! This establishment delivers on every aspect you can expect. Comfortable and pleasant environment with amazing people, an exciting variety of options on the menu. Not to mention the food is so divine you'll want to retry everything you may have had, just to get it the way they make it! Truly a place you'll want all your loved ones to try.
Our family has been several times and are always pleased with the food. My wife had the crab meat stuffed flounder and I had the filet tonight. Both were perfect.
