Townies Tavern - Palm City

Identical to most outside bar/restaurants. Draft beer was not as cold as I hoped it would be, the glass wasn't chilled, food was average at best and pricey even at today's standards. The waiter was friendly, tried hard to please, and succeeded. The most pleasant part of the visit. Thanks Andy.

I came in with a food allergy and they were super helpful and knowledgeable. I’ve been back several times now because the allergen safe food is some of the best in town!

We received our drinks almost 30 minutes after. Our server was too busy watching the football game instead of staying on top of service. We received our food 40 minutes after ordering (which we ordered 20 minutes later because our server took too long to come take our order). The food was good but not good enough for it’s price value.

Used to be a real favorite but the food, atmosphere and management have really gone downhill. The music is so loud you can't even hear the person next to you. When a manager stopped by the table to ask how it was going, we explained that we had been longtime customers, but this might be our last time because it was extremely loud. He tucked his tail and whimpered away only suggesting we either go inside or not visit on nights that there's a band. The waitress admitted the noise is often a complaint. Aside from the noise, the food is mediocre and with plenty of options in Palm City, save yourself. Also, this is the ONLY place I've ever been to charge for a side of ranch. It's dead on a Saturday night so not surprised that the crowds are dying out must not be the only longtime customers seeking other BETTER options...(and not being charged for ranch...

Just what we needed to beat the blazing Florida heat.Our taste buds were treated to a carnival of flavors with the Tuesday special: 3 Tacos for an unbelievable $8.00. Brace yourself for the taste bud tango that ensued – each bite was a whirlwind tour of flavors, a symphony of spices and textures that transported us straight to the heart of a Florida fiesta.But hold on tight, because the true headliner of the evening was none other than the Tavern 's legendary wings.
