Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

This is the only place in town where my husband enjoys the chicken fried steak. Being from Texas, he has a particular preference for it. As for the rest of the food, yes, the vegetables can be overcooked, and even the grilled meats tend to be a bit greasy, but you don't come here for a health-conscious meal. The wait staff is always friendly and helpful, not just to the customers but also to each other. Occasionally, we get drink refills from three different servers!
