Chekmarc's - Palm Bay

This is the best local diner! My family and I have been coming here for as long as I can remember. The staff is incredibly friendly, and after a few visits, they’ll remember you and happily chat about anything you want. The food is outstanding, with all ingredients sourced from a local market, Downtown Produce, just 15 minutes away, ensuring everything is fresh. Their breakfast is phenomenal, and if you're in the mood for something sweet, I highly recommend the deep French toast. This place is truly one of my favorite restaurants, and I always return whenever I’m in town.

My husband ordered the big breakfast, which included eggs, diced brown potatoes, bacon, and pancakes. His eggs were cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside and soft and hot on the inside. The bacon was delicious, and the pancakes were large and incredibly light. I opted for a Greek omelet filled with feta cheese, spinach, and a request for diced tomatoes, along with hash browns and a blueberry muffin. My omelet was hot, flavorful, and generously stuffed with cheese and filling. The hash browns were warm, creamy, and didn't taste like the prepackaged kind. The blueberry muffin was massive, loaded with blueberries, and topped with a lovely crispy crust—I could only finish half and took the rest home for a snack. Our food arrived in under 10 minutes, and the waitress checked on us several times despite being busy with other diners. Our drinks were refilled consistently. The staff was very friendly, but they managed to keep the focus on their responsibilities without getting too social with customers. In summary, this is a fantastic Mom-and-Pop restaurant with delicious food and quick, friendly service. It’s clear why they have so many regular and returning customers.

I had a fantastic breakfast experience. The restaurant was packed, and I was worried that I might be late for work, but the staff was efficient and ensured everything ran smoothly. The service was excellent, and our waitress went above and beyond to accommodate a member of our party with special dietary needs. There was a warm, homey atmosphere that really made it feel like a family gathering. I had forgotten how enjoyable a Saturday morning breakfast can be!

The employees here are well trained and move things well. The restaurant is very clean and well managed. Kaitlin offers excellent table service and the check-out process was very fast. I saw the cleaning staff looking for tables to clear them and jump as soon as someone left. Well-trained staff and wonderful service. Food was basic comfort food and well prepared and hot. Try it for the first time.

This place is wonderful. My girlfriend has a pork allergy, which most places that serve breakfast have trouble catering to and in some instances have turned us away. We were welcomed and assured it was not an issue and that they would make sure everything was safe. This was a really nice experience. Staff is friendly and welcoming, service is on point, and the food is terrific. The extra lengths they went to to make sure we could enjoy a nice breakfast out was refreshing.
