Bidrage med feedbackAl Houda Restaurant Palm Bay 5 stars Hidden Gem Alert Wow, what a great find! It took 24 hours to think of an opening of this review. Al Houda is the kind of restaurant that is why I do this day in and day out, looking for this a special place that a special drop of food that individual tastes you go....WOW!!!! It's all here in Al Houda. Let me keep in mind that my father's side has migrated from the Syrian family at the turn of the last century, so I spent many years a wonderful surprise of the authentic Middle East dishes. Most restaurants in the Middle East have Americanized the food of the region, and it is so rare to find authentic recipes that I don't even see anymore. Given this story, it was with great pleasure and luck that I found Al Houda's kitchen. Now everything is not perfect in Al Houda Land. On the one hand, it is a very small dining area with limited seating. I also found out later that this restaurant mainly focuses on the Florida Tech Arab group, so their hours are drastically cut back in the summer. The woman who greets you, I suspect, is an owner, has very little understanding of the English language to put it mild. If you are ready to try this amazing food, you must either order what I ordered or ready to show. The menu has a half-hearted English explanation of each article. (see menu photos). The server will not be able to see the great wonders you expect. In addition, they serve only bottle beverages. I chose an Aryan (pronounced R yawn) to drink yogurt that is essentially Middle Eastern buttermilk. It was pretty good and addicted with an acidic finish that is really pleasant. For the main meal I ordered lamb cafta with baba ghnouj. The Baba was made in the house. There were tiny ovaries you don't get from the distributor. I don't think the Kafta cook was prepared from scratches with fresh ingredients, but it was high quality, better than I found locally different. The crowning dish I consumed was Molokhia, which is a chicken stable with green. The chickens are so tender and juicy that they should put a whole chicken in them. As I keep telling my readers, I'm not a cook, but I know enough to tell you about execution and presentation. When it comes to ingredients, if they are not standard, I cannot always recognize exactly what they are. In this court I know that there are greens that call Jute. In addition, and the chicken all I can tell you, it is one of the best taste sensations I have ever experienced I mean. This dish is so tasteful and pleasant that you cannot stop it. The Big Boy wants you to try Al Houda. Whether you are a Middle East kitchen veteran or virgin, I promise you will not be disappointed
Vegetarian plate is excellent. Grape leaves and falafel are among the best I've ever eaten. Also comes with baba ganoush that I happen to love. Friendly service, and they have some interesting bottle sodas that I think must be imported because I have never seen them anywhere else.
The food was delicious and the waitress was very friendly at my first visit. I have so much food that I had overtaken today
Best food ever , sooo delicious : i would highly recommend ...
Excellent food! Yes it does take time to get your food even with no wait, but totally worth it. It was nice to sit chat with my husband while looking at all the items in the grocery. Cute little shop, friendly staff. Ordered lamb dish and tandoori chicken amazing! We also tried Turkish coffee for the first time definitely recommend it if you're a coffee drinker. The restaurant is in a shopping plaza so ample parking. Small but cozy clean. Highly recommend it! Our new favorite spot
