Bidrage med feedbackOnline buyers beware. I placed an order with Eilenberger 's Bakery through Goldbelly on a Sunday. I tried to change my order as I had accidentally placed the wrong order. I was not even trying to cancel it. Goldbelly would not change the order for me theysaid it was too late even though I contacted them literally two hours after I placed my order. Then they disconnected with mebecause they said they were overloaded and their system didn 't work. I tried texting them (their preferred method of contact). They would not answer any texts. I could not contact the bakery because they are closed on Sunday. I realize that Goldbelly ispartially to blame here however, they are the direct service for Eilenberger. I usually order from the other famous fruitcakebaker down the way from Eilenbergers. This is my first and last order with Eilenberger and I will go back to the other famousfruit cake bakery next year.
Bought a few cookies. I really liked the praline cookie. All the others were dry or tasted weird (snickerdoodle) and my daughter didn't finish the m&m cookie
This fruit cake was very dry, crumbly, and had no flavor. It was loaded with super sweet, syrupy fruit that overpowered the taste of just sugar. No brandy flavor what so ever. Worse fruitcake I've ever tasted (spit out). I wouldn't recommend this onmy enemy. Sorry, I'm just being grossly honest. I'm only glad it was a gift didn't waste any money on it.
Bakery storefront was nice. I drove 3 hours to purchase a Mary of Puddin' Hill Apricot fruit cake, which are the best! They were out. The lady running the register said the Australian Apricot fruit cake was the same. IT IS NOT. I took one bite and threw theentire cake away. It was inedible. Very disappointed. Would not have wasted money on it had she not said it tasted the same asthe Mary of Puddin' Hill.
Just bought a beautiful apple pie from this place!! Our senior class trip stopped by here and they enjoyed stopping in for yummy cookies, fudge and candy.
