Sit Mancia - PALERMO

Great food! we didn't think that was expensive because they eat it in a very special atmosphere. the display was amazing. we tried 5-6 different dishes, had coffee and water and paid less than 20€! full lunch for the money for 2 people is not much. the service was beautiful and very authentic. we just loved it. we were in palermo every day. yes, they heat up eating in the microwave, but tell me that they can do on other wise with the already cooked furnishings! and yes, they get server in plastic plates, but they are on the historic market, and beside them is a table with tomato and orange. all in all, great experience!

This is a simple place, a part of a larger market and should be understood as such. the best pulp I ever had. other Sicilian specificities that have not yet been known to me. easy to get a table (I speak about november) and friendly and helpful people. could be cheaper because eating was already prepared, but we are expected within the historical center of palermo and tourist prices. Anyway, I'll be back tomorrow for pulpe and house wine.

Looks good as street food but disappoint after eating some of them. The foods tastes ok ok, but its personal preference, for me it was not so good. But what made me disappointed was not food but the way they handle customers there. They are not rude or say anything bad but behave like they don't care. They threw plastic plates in front of you and then bring food and put on your table and done. Yes, this street is crowded and there is less place, loud, lot to do, but still behaving good to customers is always expected even if you have lot to do.

Horrible experience. Unfortunately I did not check review previously. The food is junk, not fresh, everything is overfried not tasty at all,I would say even disgusting. Portions are very small. To pay only by cash. I asked the waitress if the specific food was a fish and she confirmed it, but it was pork in the end! I paid 35€ for nothing, it's can not be legal even to give the handwritten receipts with fake prices. Scam fraud. In COVID times no waiter wares a masc. It is the worst experience during decates of traveling in differentcountries, would not experience this low level in Italy.

Don't write too many reviews unless a place is incredible. This time, however, I need to write a review to let the world know just how terrible this place is. Echoing every one else (who isn't a bot) in saying very rude staff, rubbish food and extremely high prices. Left a bitter taste in our mouths (literally and figuratively) when everything else in this beautiful country has been amazing.
