Los Arcos Mexican Grill - Palatine

I stopped by for lunch today and it was fantastic. It's one of the cleanest places I've been to in years. I’ll definitely return the next time I'm in town.

The staff was friendly, and I was seated immediately. This place is a hidden gem in the BG/Palatine area. The Lomo, Carne Asada tacos, and tamales are absolutely delicious. I would definitely return in a heartbeat.

I have to say, finding an excellent Mexican restaurant in the suburbs can be quite challenging, but I’ve finally discovered my new favorite place. It’s a bit off the beaten path, but there’s plenty of parking available. The menu offers a wide range of food and drink options. We were greeted with a complimentary soup that was simple yet incredibly delicious! The drinks were also served in generous portions and tasted great. I ordered the enchiladas suizas, and they were amazing, especially considering the price. My partner had the torta de asada, and she absolutely loved it. I also noticed they have a nice selection of alcoholic beverages. Overall, I left feeling very satisfied with my experience. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I ordered through DoorDash and while the delivery was timely, my order was incorrect. I specifically requested no sour cream or radishes in the special instructions, but they were included. Additionally, I selected corn tortillas but received flour instead. Since I didn’t want to deal with the hassle and was quite hungry, I went ahead and ate the food anyway. I had to pick off some ingredients, and although I enjoy flour tortillas, I still prefer corn. Even with these mistakes, the food was delicious, so I initially rated it three stars. (Edit) I've since learned that the DoorDasher places the order in this case, so I’m increasing my rating to five stars because the food I ordered is consistently fantastic. I’ll provide feedback on the Dashers through their website.

I ordered 99-cent delivery from Uber Eats because I was craving some fries and tacos. To my surprise, they also have delicious gorditas!
