Meson A Brea - Palas de Rei

Was fairly busy but good to stop before palas de rei. Service was as good and the cake and coffee were good. We sat out back as other side very busy. Hard to get into bathrooms as tables up to the door

We had a quick stop off here for lunch just before reaching Palas de Rei and so glad we did. Quick, efficient and helpful service led to some gorgeous bacon and cheese bocadillas and diet cokes. The bocadillas were incredibly tasty and fuelled us up for the rest of the day. Definitely worth stretching your walk from Portomarin to reach here for lunch. 100% recommended

A very cozy and clean atmosphere, nice and quick service. As a vegetarian I took the vegetable pizza as the bartender recommended me. As a drink I had freshly squeezed orange juice. Both tasted high quality. I first hesitated to take the pizza since I had it the day before. But after all it turned out to be extraordinary and soo delicious! If the other dishes are as good as the pizza it is a must on your camino or vacation. Bon appetit!

Llegamos agotados de la etapa rompepiernas Portomarín-Palas de Rei del Camino de Santiago francés y tardamos un poco en poder sentarnos porque estaban abarrotados y no habíamos reservado por miedo a no llegar a tiempo por no ir al ritmo adecuado al andar o necesitar más descansos previos. Tras unos 15 minutos de espera, pudimos sentarnos en una mesa libre y al rato nos limpiaron la mesa y tomaron nota. Pedimos una botella de agua grande para ambos comensales, solomillo de cerdo a la brasa con patatas (18€ de la carta para 1 comensal y el menú (12€ entre semana, 14€ en fin de semana para el otro comensal. El menú incluía bebida (el agua , pan (barra gallega riquísima , primer plato (eligió lasaña de carne , segundo plato (escogió huevos con patatas y chorizo y postre (se decantó por contesa . Todo estaba muy bueno. Destacamos la calidad de la carne y el buen punto que le dieron. Total 2 personas 30€.

Excelente relación calidad precio, carne a la parrilla espectacular, hecha en el momento, sin duda alguna lugar para comer o cenar si te cuadra pasar cerca, tener sitios como este que vas a tiro fijo sin llevarte sorpresas es de agradecer. *Postres caseros deliciosos...
