Outrigger - Palacios

This is the best chicken fried steak I've had in ages, and the atmosphere is just right. I can't imagine a better spot to enjoy weekends with friends or family. Additionally, the waiting staff at the Outrigger is incredibly friendly and helpful—it's hard to find service like theirs anywhere else.

This charming small-town restaurant is perfectly situated by the water, and they source their seafood fresh from local suppliers. I always enjoy visiting on summer Friday nights when I’m in town. It’s a great spot for large family gatherings, but I recommend calling ahead a few days in advance to ensure a smooth experience. The service has consistently been excellent when I do this. The owner is often on-site as well and takes the time to mingle with guests—he’s a really nice guy.

Famous Palacios Shrimp is now open for lunch as well as Friday and Saturday evenings. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and delicious food!
