Mary's Diner - Painesville

Nice atmosphere and cute diner, food was lacking though. The milkshake and root beer float made the visit worthwhile. Fries were delicious and crispy. Burgers were lacking in flavor and overcooked.

I love the atmosphere of this diner. While the exterior is in a new building, they?ve done a fantastic job of designing the interior. I only wish the food would have been a little better. The milkshake was excellent though.

We went to the new location in concord about a month after it opened. Looks like great atmosphere, but that?s where it stops. We got mushrooms for the appetizer and they came to us still frozen under the breading! So hard I could not even bite into it! Then the waitress was kind to try to fix it and brought back the same ones cooked more and dropped them off at the same time giving us our food. She did not apologize or anything. This is the CLEANEST restaurant I have eaten in. Fun, old time Diner feel. I got the open face turkey sandwich and it was good. I wish they were closer to home for me.

When you go looking for a diner..you expect it to be that not some pseudo thing in a strip mall. That said the service was pretty good ESPECIALLY Robin and the pretty boy who served coffee.(though wearing pants that fit would be better in a business sense). This place was dumb expensive Look at the onion rings for nearly $6. The fish sandwich was tiny as was the philly. Our beef and noodles was like a half order with too little beef and too much noodle.
