Mister Tater's Tater Shack - Pahrump

We were unsure about where to eat, so we decided to stop by this cozy place in a casino. I ordered a cheeseburger while my wife opted for the chicken steak. The portions were generous, and my burger was cooked to a perfect medium. Additionally, my wife's vegetables were incredibly vibrant and bright green!

I shared my concerns with my waiter, who was very apologetic. I told him that the issue seemed to be in the kitchen. When I went to settle the bill, I once again politely expressed my dissatisfaction, but there was no effort to address my concerns, despite a floor supervisor standing nearby at the cashier's booth. This experience was quite disappointing and made me wonder if others who may have encountered similar issues were also ignored. The two stars I gave are solely for the service, which is usually very good. I'm now left with some hesitation about returning as a customer. Jim B. Pahrump, NV.

The food for the most part was good. My buddy got pancakes that werent cooked all the way through. Service was good. Right now they have a very limited menu

If you're a fan of baked potatoes, you're going to adore this spot. The potatoes are not only gigantic but also substantial enough to be a meal on their own. They offer a diverse and inventive selection of specialty baked potatoes. I had always regarded baked potatoes as mere side dishes, but this place has completely changed my perspective. You might find the prices a bit on the higher side, but considering the generous portions, you're certainly getting your money's worth. We tried the BBQ chicken and holiday dinner baked potatoes, both of which were fantastic, and we’re definitely planning to return to sample more from their menu.

If you enjoy potatoes, you will absolutely love this restaurant. The potatoes are so large they can easily be a full meal on their own, and the variety of specialties is both wide-ranging and creative. I never thought of baked potatoes as anything more than a side dish, but this place has completely changed my perspective. You might think the prices are a bit steep, but with the generous portions, they are definitely worth it. We tried the BBQ chicken and the "Vacation Evening Dinner" potatoes, both of which were fantastic! We will definitely be returning to sample more from their menu.
