We loved it. Food from the real smokers, great service, live music, reasonable prices. Very happy. Highly recommending.

We stopped here during my birthday and I’m so glad we chose this place! This is quite possibly the best BBQ I’ve ever had — the coleslaw crunchy and sweet, beans with the best flavor, and amazing brisket. Took off one star just because our to-go bag didn’t have sauce And the atmosphere was poppin’ — felt like the place to be! Band was a plus. Can’t wait to come back.

The t shirts say “feed me brisket and tell me I’m pretty” and once you’ve tried Big Johns brisket you’ll know why! The place is cozy which is quite a feat considering it’s a remodelled old gas station. The inside is cozy, and outside there’s live music and bench seats under the canopy. At the roadside you see the gigantic smokers they use to prepare the brisket and ribs. And the food is absolutely delicious.

Ribs were good and the brisket was really disappointing (dry and lacking flavor) maybe I'm spoiled with how good though smoke houses are in Oregon

Not 5 star quality, but still pretty good. With the high reviews, I guess I expected more options.
