The food was delightful, accompanied by stunning views. The couple who runs the place is very friendly, and their cream teas were absolutely delicious.

I studied engineering at the Glasgow College of Nautical Science, and those were the days when, like any college student, I needed money to enjoy myself. Like many of my classmates, I took a part-time job at an Indian restaurant called The Village Curry House, where I worked for almost five months. The flaky naan bread they serve is incredibly soft and delicious. The chicken curries are the biggest and tastiest I've ever had, surpassing what I've experienced anywhere else in the world.
