Spectacular. We booked for an anniversary celebration, and it was everything we could have hoped for. An experience like this is a leap of faith and No.6 is a pair of safe hands. The food is exceptional. The wine pairing package was expensive but excellent, and really took the food to another level. What set No.6 apart was the service. Brilliantly friendly without being overbearing, knowledgeable without being irritable when asked stupid questions !! a shout out to the sommeliers! So many special touches ... an anniversary card, personalised menus, gifts to take away, a map of local ingredients and suppliers, and a follow up email was a lovely touch. The restaurant itself is small, but accommodates enough guests to keep 15 or so tables full, with enough staff to perfectly serve everyone, without feeling noisy, busy or stressful. I envy anyone who can eat there regularly, and will certainly be back!
