George's Takeaway - Padstow

I was pleasantly surprised to discover an authentic Gyros place in Padstow. It's great to see that this takeaway stays true to traditional methods, using quality ingredients and avoiding the modern trend of shaping the Gyros in a 'V'. I have to mention the chicken - it was absolutely fantastic. Tender, juicy, and prepared in the traditional Greek style. My only complaint is that I wish the chilli sauce was spicier, but the deliciousness of the food, especially the chicken, makes up for it. Overall, the food is delicious, authentic, filling, and worth the price. I can't wait to come back again.

I absolutely love the food at George's Takeaway. The chips are fantastic, as well as the pork with delicious crackling and the outstanding chicken schnitzel. The staff is incredibly friendly and always eager to take my order and serve the food quickly.

Hamburgers are the best but you can’t beat a Stuffed Capsicum there to die for great staff
