La Pampa Steakhouse - Paderborn

This is a cheap steak house with a good selection of cuts. the salatable is always a good option and always well equipped. steaks are of good quality and are prepared according to their desire. also the house wines are inexpensive.

I was here with my friend and some friends. with my friend we bought a chateaubriand, which is filet with a side-to-size coin to choose from. the meat was good, cost 56 € (500 g meat). they also have a selection of South American wines. it's a nice place.

The first time we had eaten there was about a week before we left paderborn after 6 years there. we were absolutely overwhelmed by the standard of eating and service. we need to return at least twice a year only to eat in this restaurant. magnificent steaks with a good selection of extras and salates.

My man and I went to la pampa for the first time on Saturday evening as a late jubilee dinner. we were very excited as we had heard many positive things about this restaurant! we had both sprinkles as an appetizer that were very tasty. a nice little geste is also that la pampa gives them garlic bread with a dip as a free snack. we have actually refilled this with our appetizer! as a main dish I had the rib eye and my man had the 300-g-filetsteak. it was huge and no grease on it! both steaks were beautifully prepared and melt in their mouth. we had three sides between us, as only a few of the steak dishes actually contain pommes. overall we enjoyed our eating very much, but this restaurant is not as friendly to her purse as e.g. el rancho (another great steak restaurant in paderborn). we would definitely come back, but it will be a tasty bite and not as a spontaneous visit for pure cost reasons.
