Edoki Sushi-Bar - Paderborn

A clearly defined and detailed Vegan menu which was absolutely to die for! Prices are great for what you get, staff were lovely and sitting outside really makes it. :

Great sushi for a good price, served by nice staff! If you're more than a couple of people, or want to go at a particular time, you should probably make a reservation.

We called in advance and let the staff know we have a small child and guest in a wheelchair. The staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating. Food was terrific and well worth the drive from Detmold. A good atmosphere and toilets were clean. We will definitely be coming back again.

With the family to lunch. it was a set menu for 10 euro. the staff was very accommodating, as it was full, but they pressed two tables for us together. the Miso soup was great as starter, followed by a delicious salad cellar with green tea. the free salted beans were discarded from a juicy dish of sushi. excellent value for money in a small but clean restaurant.

I have lived in japan for many years and this is not even close to the worst or cheapest sushi they find in japan. now, the monopol in paderborn probably explains why it still exists and is often busy. the cook/owner is arrogant and the whole culinary experience was not exactly pleasant. by the way, a friend was sick after eating here, but can't say it's related to eating. they save their money and go to larger cities (e.g. düsseldorf), where there are many more Japanese tourists, there they will find more authentic and tasty Japanese food with better service.
