Nick's Rockaway - Pacifica

We just hosted a baby shower in Nick's private room yesterday and it was a super experience from the very beginning. Coordinator Kelly always super friendly, positive and helpful. Servers Laurie and Jessica were outstanding. I can't say enough about their service, they were beyond helpful, fast and responsive! The food was excellent!! I heard from several attendees that they loved the food. The space is large, lots of tables to put all our items, wine cost reasonable, room fee reasonable, no cake cutting charge. I called 7 other restaurants to find the best private room and it was definitely Nick's. (One was a place I had used several times for other events but they were just not as responsive as Nicks!

While I do love this place, a to-go order of a open faced crab sammie with American Cheese and Avocado did have me cringing at $48. Service is always awesome have it be take out or to go. I've been coming here for as long as I can remember, and I'll still come back but maybe deter from that crab sammie!

A friend of mine told us about this place so we picked a perfect day to take a drive. We we're told that we had to try the the Crab sandwich. We ordered the clam chowder first with a couple of drinks. The chowder consistency was perfect, all the normal ingredients (clams, chopped potatoes, onions, clams, etc) were inside and cut perfectly, and most of all it was hot temperature way. Our entries were the Smoked Trout salad and the Nicks Famous Crab sandwich. The Trout salad was good and light. The Trout was cooked perfectly and not too smokey. The crab sandwich was enough to feed two people which was great. There was plenty of crab inside, very tasty, the bread wasn't too much and was toasted nicely. The only knock on the sandwich was that it needed a binder for the crab to the bread. The sandwich was a little dry because of that. We ordered the Spice Pumpkin Cobbler. It was so delicious with great flavors, not too much of Spice, and it just melted in your mouth. The ice cream capped it off nicely. Lastly, the service (Susan) our waitress was so nice and quick to get whatever it was we needed. The views from inside the restaurant are also nice being that it wasn't foggy. I'd definitely go back and try some other food items and drinks to go with them.

Food was great. Most of the staff were friendly. However one of the rudest and unprofessional server was continually rude. Stay away from Jasmine. Almost ruined our dinner but we decided to laugh at her. She was horrible!!! 5 stars for food 0 stars for jasmine.

Everything was great. The food was delicious. The Hostesses were wonderful. The service was great. And the view was beautiful. We had a late lunch and came back later for the live music. Definitely going back
