Bidrage med feedbackI delivered a tanker of cream here. Appointment time was 4am. Did not get into the unload bay until 8am. Very slow unloading facilities with small pumps and lines.. unloaders were very nice and hard working however. Hopefully with the new ownership there will be changes made to improve the speed of the unloading bay!
The people working here are just outstanding! As for directions: From St Louis go west on I-44 to exit 257. At end of ramp turn left and go to red light at Osage st, turn left. Travel about 1.5 miles to MO F (S First st), turn right. Go about 1 mile to Jefferson street, turn right. (There will be signs for truck traffic) go about 1/2 miles to Denton, turn left b4 the RR track. Go about 1/2 mile to industrial street, turn right. Go about 1/4 mile to Midwest st, turn left. Smith food is on the left. Very easy! As for backing to door. It’s a little tight. Just go slow and pay attention! I backed in with just two pull-ups. It wasn’t has bad as I thought. It looks worse than what it is. I have been to far worse places to back! There is a pilot at exit 257 to weigh the wagon.
This place smells horrible I can smell it a mile plus away. They need to clean up the place and stop using equipment that hasn't been cleaned in years.
People seem nice. But it's very tight getting in the doors. If the tanker and yard dog truck wasn't in the way it would make backing into dock 4 a lot easier. And should probably call to verify yoi load is ready before making a trip up here. On the plus side there is a Pilot up the road if you can get there before it gets all jammed up.
Absolutely a disgusting excuse for a manager. I've been sitting here for over 48 hours waiting to unload. Plant is either always breaking down or having to empty silos because of milk going bad. My first time here I was waiting for 39 hours
