Pacific Beach Resort Conference Center

Pacific Beach Resort is open during their remodeling at this time. We ordered from the bar from a quite pleasant friendly fellow. The food arrived in a timely fashion, however it wasn 't exactly what we ordered. We specifically asked for cheddar cheese and were served American on our burgers. Sweet pickles on a burger? C 'mon! We also ordered garlic fries and it consisted of uncooked garlic bits and Parmesan served under the fries (should have just ordered the plain, as there was a surcharge on the garlic ones). We did enjoy the Wi-Fi and had a wonderful view of the Pacific Ocean!

Passable for the area, this Naval funded resort has reopened its dining room and bar for visitors and area folks alike. Beer is cold and staff area very friendly. Bar food is acceptable

Nothing like showing up at check in time and being told your room isn't a available while watching 4 others check in. The cherry on top is telling me the room is being cleaned while telling one of the new check ins housekeeping is done for the day. 4 hour drive wasted and the cottages aren't even oceanfront as advertised.

I almost don 't want to review this gem because I 'm afraid the word will get out. However, we received such friendly and exceptional service from the two gals checking us into the RV park, plus had such a wonderful time that they need mention. First let me be clear that we did not rent equipment (it seems there 's a lot to rent here: bikes, kites and clamming gear , we did jot eat here (there 's an American style cafe , we did not stay at the cottages (But I totally would! . We stayed at the RV park. The RV park was GREAT with fantastic rates. There was access to the beach through a gate with a small walk. The bath house wasn 't fancy, but the water pressure was great and the water was hot! It 's a military installation... what are your expectations? This isn 't a resort by any means, the bowling alley seemed shut down, Food limited and no real special activities. I can say that 's everything felt clean, everyone I came into contact with was helpful and friendly. We just had such a love time hearing the waves crash on the shore and take daily beach walks... for that, it 's a five become those were my expectations. I will also warn you that if you 're staying at the RV park, cell phone service is limited. You can 't stream tv or accomplish schoolwork (we homeschool even with a hot spot. Don 't come here of you still need to connect, plan to disconnect enjoy amazing sunsets and the sounds of the ocean.
