Welvanpas Family Vineyards - Paarl

Charming and rustic, this cozy little coffee shop was the perfect stop for us after our bike ride. In addition to delicious coffee, they offer their family-made wines and a selection of freshly baked pastries and bread. There's also a variety of canned goods and treats available for purchase. The staff was warm and welcoming, providing excellent service. We definitely plan to return, and the trails were a wonderful experience!

The Windmeul Restaurant is a small cozy restaurant. Nice to spent time with good company. Wine tasting is offered here. The food are lovely presented and tastefull. This is the farm from where Piet Retief led his people inland during the historic Groot Trek with oxwagons other the surrounding mountains. His brothers descendant who stayed behind on the farm ancestors is still owning and running the farm almost four decades later.

We went hiking here.Beautiful scenery and with a map you cannot get lost.Very popular with Mountain bike riders too.Part of the MTB trails.Afterwards have some decadent carrot cake as your reward!!
