Beautiful setting on a farm. Full of guava trees. Relaxing and quiet. Staff very friendly and polite. Food was good. Will return again with friends.

In March 2021 I visited the Stone Kitchen at Dunstone for a kids' birthday party and as I hadn't been at Dunstone for quite a while I did not know what to expect. When we arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The estate is beautiful, they have a large restaurant with inside and outside seating areas. The outside seating is scattered around under the trees, and there is also a big playground for the kids, as well as a indoors play area, making this a perfect place for families to go on sunny or rainy days. So I could see why our friends chose Dunstone for their sons birthday it's a great option for kids, and as all the parents joined were also there, our friends ordered some cheese and meat platters. The staff however did seem to be a bit overwhelmed we were a large group, though not that big to cause confusion, but we still enjoyed ourselves. I also ended up doing a wine tasting I am not sure if it is normal practice there, but I was just handed my wines with no explanation from the waiter (notes on the wines were provided) which I did not like. If you are looking for a place to do a wine tasting, eat something and have your children entertained, this is a good option.
