Playa Azul - Oxnard

Their specialty is the Carne Asada plate, which is always incredibly tender. I've also tried the bistec con papas, carnitas, sopes, and enchiladas. Everything was tasty—nothing overly spectacular, but definitely fresh. Parking can be a challenge, as it’s always changing. I haven’t been able to find their phone number for takeout orders, but I usually enjoy my meals in the diner. Seating is limited, and the service is decent. Overall, the food is good, and the owner is doing important work for the community. I eat here to support her cause, plus I always get a great meal. Give it a try!
