The Pickle Pig - Oxford

Excellent fried chicken sandwich, onion rings and cod (Limpet) dinner. Service was great as well! I took one star because I can't eat spicy/black peppery food and beyond that they change the menu constantly so you can't plan ahead if you have dietary considerations. The two menu options I chose ahead from the online menu (half chicken and prime rib) were either unavailable or pre-peppered. However our server worked hard to help us.

Absolutely incredible!! Saw some scary reviews and was definitely nervous, but it’s incredible!! Great service and enviro!! Food is delicious! Burgers were delicious, and the strip steak and burgers and angry italian pasta is amazing! Cocktails were delicious! As well as the duck fat fries!

I so wanted to like this place, but our experience was not the best. The turkey burger I received was hardly cooked and our appetizer came with our main course. Our waitress was very sweet and apologized for our service. There was a bus boy who was working his little tail off, serving as host, cleaning tables and bringing people their food. Must have been an off night?

Not sure how it took me so long to try this place. Their black bean burger is the best in town by far! Plus their fries and side salad were very good. I took it to go, but will be back for a date night dinner with the wife for sure. ? ??

Designed as a 1930s speakeasy, there’s an ample cocktail menu and a huge selection of tasty food. Charcuterie board is great and enough for a meal. Delightful, engaging service from Payton and the rest of the staff.
