The Beacon Restaurant. - Oxford

Do they understand before they go here that this place is a dive, okay? it is not nice, but it is an Oxford tradition, opened since 1959! and the tables and decoration have not changed since then! I'm going to the breakfast occasionally. nothing nice. coffee, eggs, speck, pancakes, spicy. locals will be there as well as students. the waitress could sit on the table with them while they order. if they have pleasure, they go to the place down on the road, but if they want good ole diner eat at a good price, they go to beacon.

We had heard about the beacon, and since we were in oxford, we stopped. we had a great breakfast in a scenic, local spot. each chair was taken, although it wasn't waiting too long. nothing unusual on the menu, but just eating good breakfast.

Food is great,but the dining area was kinda nasty.service was good .
